Pin entries in the Home Page?

Is there a way to pin specific results from a plugin to the Home Page?
Or alternatively, a way to automatically have recently selected entries added to the Home Page?

For example, if I have a frequently accessed file or program, I'd like it to be selectable/clickable directly from the Home Page without having to type any command.

(This is different from the existing functionality of displaying History Results in the Home Page.
That option shows recent queries, not the actual results from the plugin, and requires more clicks to actually get to the result)
