BUG: Using IME application (Google日本語入力 / Google Japanese Input) causes Flow window disappear on Windows 11 when search results update

Problem Description

When using the IME (Google日本語入力 / Google Japanese Input) for kanji conversion in a Japanese Windows 11 environment, the conversion window disappears along with the search hits.

To Reproduce

1. Enter any text. (In the screenshot, I typed "今日の天気 (kyounotennki)")
2. While you're typing, matches are found and the result list refreshes.
3. At the same time as step 2, the IME conversion window disappears.

I gave it a try, but it didn't get any better.

Here's an idea: it might help to prevent the search from running while the IME is still composing. If the search kicks in only after the conversion is confirmed (pressing Enter), it shouldn't clash with the conversion window.

Are you using default Microsoft keyboard? If not, does it have this issue?

No, it does not occur with Microsoft's default IME.

It only happens when you are using Google Japanese Input (a.k.a Google IME).

Incidentally, Google Japanese Input is popular among Japanese Windows users because it's free and offers high conversion accuracy.

I will also report on the expected behavior of the Google Japanese Input conversion candidate window.

While typing in Flow Launcher, this conversion candidate window behaves as if it is flickering.

Could you please try toggling "Always start typing with English"?

I tried toggling "Always start typing with English", but it didn't improve the situation.
