Description

• Add the open-source, tool-agnostic standard AGENTS.md for defining how coding agents should act.
• Add a CLAUDE.md as well, once it’s the default AI platform used by internal developers. Use a CLAUDE.md → AGENTS.md one-line redirect.

Definition of Done Checklist:

• Coded to standards.
• Ensure backward compatibility.
• API reference docs is created or updated, if applicable.
• Unit tests are written or updated.
• Integration tests are written, if applicable.
