I'm trying to do a poc of concept, but when I try to move the slides with the mouse instead of dots, it doesn't work even if I add the flag of swiping={true} as I show in codesandbox.

The mouse does not trigger touch events, at least in Chrome (135.0.7049.84) on Windows 10.

I usually use patch-package to fix problematic packages in the JavaScript ecosystem

This is (currently) intentional that swiping only works on mobile devices, per the docs.

By default the carousel will allow you to drag the carousel to the next slide. You can disable this by setting the swiping prop to false. This is only enabled on mobile devices.

However, we could think about an option to expand the API to support swiping on the desktop by changing the API to support expanded options. Retaining boolean is required for backward compatibility.
