Fossify Phone: No contact photos after disabling default Contacts app

Hello everyone,

I disabled my default Contacts app and only use Fossify’s Contacts app.
Fossify’s phone app doesn’t show contact pictures in the contact list.
Fossify's phone only syncs contact pictures from the default Contacts app, which I have disabled.
Is this a bug?

I wonder if it has to do with the Contacts repository being gone now? Even going to the URL gives a 404 error.
