Feature description

I would like to be able to add a reminder to notes with an optional push notification.

Why do you want this feature?

It would be helpful for individual notes as a "read it later" type of function, and for tasks and to-do lists to get a reminder to complete tasks.

As I am for reminders in Notes (other note apps have it), why would you like to add a new app for that? You can already use Fossify Calendar to create reminders (as tasks).

Because I don't like mixing my notes with my reminders, I like the separation of concerns.

As for doing it with calendars, though not complicated, it is not that easy too, I need reminders to be easy to add, preferably from a quicktile.

But Fossify Calendar already has a quick tile for adding tasks...

(or shortcut, however you name it, but it still can be quickly accessed, without the need to open full app)

To me it would be an unnecessary bloat of the Notes app. Tasks, reminders, however you call it belong to the Calendar app and notes are notes. The (almost) same functionality in two apps doesn't make sense to me.

I also came from Google Keep and find the functionality there very well implemented, especially with the custom repeaters and the snooze or remind me later option. I would be thrilled if we could get a similar feature here.

I would like reminders as well. I tried to recreate my Keep experience with Fossify Calendar, but realized that recurring tasks flood the list view and make it hard to track the nonrecurring ones. Implementing a task view in Calendar might work too, although it has fewer formatting options than Note.

Keep recently killed their native reminder system in favor of Tasks reminder integration. I could kinda see the logic of that backend deduplication, except I didn't actually want my phone reminders synced, and Google straight-up ignores the account settings that are supposed to turn off sync for Tasks and Calendar Tasks.

Also support recurring reminders, only feature stopping me fully switching to this app. NotallyX has a decent implementation for multiple note reminders with recurrence, maybe some code can be "lifted" from there? Even simple one-time reminders would be a step forward.
