I was following up on some changes to an Addon (CamScripts) as suggested by @PhoneDroid and became rather confused after updating the addon as to how to proceed and get the Addon updated for the FC Addon Manager.
I looked around and discovered a lot of new & v nice info on Addons, but nothing to help with above.
Process I was familiar with involved an upstream PR to something like Freecad/addons, but that seems to have changed. Made some guesses and it seems that now each authors repo, eg CamScripts is now the one and only source and used directly by FC addon mgr.
This is very nice, but needs to be documented and especially give some advice to Addon Dev/maintainers about using branches for testing etc.
