I absolutely love freesm, I have currently 2 suggestions, 1 - To add a texting system in launcher that you could open with a specific keybind either in launcher or ingame and adding friends in the launcher support, 2 - Adding custom capes of inbuilt-freesm or in a way adding capes visible to only freesm user(if you other allow custom capes for freesm then maybe a watermark or something or maybe not - I have seen SKLauncher give its user option to play with capes that are only visible to them)
Benefit
Texting system allows Low-end pc users to just keep freesm on which very less resource intensive saving resources, cape idea is optional but add quality of life and design improvements

I search and found that integrating a chat system makes the application takes resources which is why it should be toggleable and cape is just decorative
