How can I make a 2D plot?

I have a set of scalar data defined on 2D coordinates, but when I visualize it in GLVis it looks 3D. How can I get a purely 2D output—basically change Figure 1 into Figure 2?

Hi, we essentially visualize everything as 3D, but it is easy to change the perspective so it looks 2D 😉 For that, use the buttons:

• R - changes the view to the top one (it is a cycle through different ones, so maybe press more times)
• j - turns off perspective
• l (like light) - turns off light effects
