Add Tests for Authentication APIs

Could you please explain me a little more about the APIs tests, I have to write?
I did looked into the code of google oauth for which I have to write tests, but I did not quite understand about what I have to write. Actually, I haven't written APIs tests before, so I am little unclear about what I have to do.
