Still get (unskippable) ads

Reinstalled windows onto a new drive, old drive got wiped too. still getting ads.
windows version the exact same, aswell as the browser being the same.
used to work before, now after fresh install of windows it does not anymore.

because it only removes the GET PREMIUM button. I saw its source code. It does nothing aside from removing that button

no it doesn't, the background.js script replaces the ads' track with a blank 1s audio file

However @wewannaown you should prefer youtube music 'cuz its ads can be blocked via normal ad blocker.
