Cert and Passwort protection

Hello, I use the creality k1c. So far everything is working. I installed Mainsail and deactivated creality web interface. Can the webinterface from mainsail be protected with a self-signed SSL cert (apache2 utils) and would it be possible to use a simple auth for Password protection? I also have other people and children on my network who shouldn't have access to the printer. Kind regards, David
