-hirespft option for mksurfdata.pl not working, probably because of missing files

Following the README to create static files for a single point case. I've attached my wrapper workflow. Working nicely, but I am not able to use the -hirespft flag of the mksurfdata.pl script.

The error:
ERROR: could NOT find a mksrf_fvegtyp data file for this resolution: 3x3min and type: veg and MODISv2. ./eCLM_static-file-generator/mksurfdata/bld/queryDefaultNamelist.pl -csmdata /p/scratch/cjibg31/jibg3105/CESMDataRoot/InputData/ -silent -justvalue -namelist clmexp -options hgrid=3x3min,lmask=MODISv2,mergeGIS=off,crop='on',sim_year=2000 -var mksrf_fvegtyp

There is no additional output with the -debug flag.

Sorry to jump to your comment here. I have a question. Do you think the documentation here (https://hpscterrsys.github.io/eCLM/users_guide/case_creation/README.html) is still relevant to be used for a single-point case (especially outside the Europe domain)? I tried to follow the steps that I got from the Fall School two months ago, and I have an issue that I have not been able to solve so far. Thanks in advance!

I think the approach pretty much corresponds to what I followed (https://github.com/HPSCTerrSys/eCLM_static-file-generator/tree/main/docs/users_guide) and, in theory, this should be applicable globally, with potential little tweaks to, e.g., facilitate negative latitudes. I didn't test this, but you can have a look at the script I attached to automate this process. Is there another Issue already describing your problem?
