Summary

To have as little as possible native HTML elements shown, the sidebar should be redesigned.

Problem Statement

As native HTML elements look clunky and do not fit the overall look of the application, they should be replaced / redesigned whenever possible.

Proposed Solution

Redesign as many sidebar elements as possible.

Marking as "Blocked by #144" because this feature introduces @angular/materials as a library which allows us to use dialogs, which will make this task easier and also allow us to further redesign and clean up the sidebar by putting more elements into dialogs
