Deployment documentation for Carrot Transform?

Hello,

I am new to Carrot. I'd like to deploy Carrot Mapper and Carrot Transform locally, to be able to evaluate if these tools could be of any use in our (future) OMOP projects. I see that there is deployment documentation available for Carrot Mapper, but not for Carrot Transform yet. Do you have any idea when this will become available?

Hi Bert,

We are currently rewriting the documentation for Carrot Transform. There is a quickstart guide that is in progress, and I'm expecting it to be ready some time next week.

Hi Bert,

I've just made an update on Carrot Transform. The README file should point you to the carrot documents, and there are links to the carrot transform quickstart guide on the main carrot website and in the readme.

I've also added some example files to the repo, so if you grab those you can work through the example in the quickstart.

Please let me know if you need any assistance, or have feedback about the quickstart guide. Full documentation is in the works, but hopefully this will get you started.

Hi Bert,

Apologies, I made a mistake and originally uploaded the wrong example! Please check the repo for updated ones. The updated ones should have personID columns like a hash (e.g., 16dc368a89b428b2485484313ba67a3912ca03f2b2b42429174a4f8b3dc84e44) rather than an int like '101'.

Let me know if this doesn't fix the issue.

Will the full documentation contain an explanation of the summary_mapstream.tsv file? I have a hard time understanding the information provided in this file ....

Thanks! For the moment the Carrot Transform part is pretty clear to me. However, I posted quite a list of questions regarding Carrot Mapper (https://github.com/Health-Informatics-UoN/carrot-mapper/discussions/943), but I assume it's other people who should be answering those ....
