SharedFlavours makes it easy to share recipes accompanied by text, photo, or video instructions. The app also allows users to offer paid cooking lessons and additional personalized instructions based on client requests.
For example, Julia has a collection of recipes she learned and inherited from family members. She doesn't know many people in her area, but she would like to share her passion for cooking. This app will allow her to join a community of food enthusiasts from all backgrounds to share her recipes, build a clientele, and learn new recipes to add to her collection. Furthermore, she can monetize her passion when someone orders one of her recipes or requests a lesson.
Our goal is to teach, inform, and train communities of all kinds from all backgrounds around a unifying topic like cooking.
Indeed, the current economic situation puts time pressure on people. Some people, due to lack of time and various concerns, are no longer motivated to learn new things and prefer to stick to what they already know. Consequently, they don't see the point in improving their eating habits. Moreover, in a multicultural society, communities tend to each form their own circles based on their shared interests, which often causes antagonism towards other communities for superficial reasons.
Thus, SharedFlavours tries to position itself as a mentor and a unifying point for several different communities.
