Ad-hoc reporting

As it stands reports can either be one time or ran on a specific frequency. It has been requested to have the option to add reports as needed in somewhat of an ad-hoc fashion, as not all projects report on patterned basis.

AFAIK this isn't urgent to this round of testing as most of these projects report close to monthly, but all the staff knew projects with irregular reporting schedules

Are you suggesting a feature where you can hit a button and send a request to fill a report? Are you also suggesting different type of reports that can be asked to fill?

no worries! I was thinking more the latter, where staff could set dates without a pattern for reporting. So for example once reporting is enabled, if they didn't want to use the frequency they could set like 4 different reports at different dates

I think some projects are required to report based off of project milestones which can vary quite a bit in terms of timelines.

Like I said in this initial phase of testing the projects being used are monthly reporting so not a huge rush, just looking ahead to getting all projects implemented

make sense, I think treating this more like how the calendar events are created will cover for most use-cases.

@frankduncan @bickelj I thought I remember a discussion where y'all were potentially doing some implementation on this front, did that ever materialize? If not I'll likely start to commit some dev time to it

@wes-otf Could we do something like this? When opting to not repeat staff can add one or more reporting dates.

@bickelj Thanks for the link to your solution for this issue. The patch did not apply cleanly so I created a similar solution in the linked PR.

It mainly do the same thing I believe. Can you take a look and see if it's something you could adopt in place of your solution? Happy to consider any changes you would need.

One thing that differ is that my PR do not merge the due and submitted reports in to one table. @wes-otf What do you think OTF stand on that UI change?

@frjo In order to know for sure I'd need to merge it into a restored DB, see if things are OK, etc. I will see if I can quickly do that.

@frjo I was able to try it locally and it looks like it is mostly interoperable, though I think some of the wording in the UI we would keep, and again this is only a cursory look. @frankduncan would you be willing to also take a look at this?
