H2 emissions: should we add it?

There are a few projects working on modelling H2 emissions in scenarios.

Does it make sense to add it to the reporting template, to allow them to submit this?

Internally we have done some work regarding the h2 emissions yes. And if we had a standard template that would be helpful. I kind of went off-script on how to call the different emission types and sources. So this would be quite helpful to anchor future work.
As of now, most of the hydrogen emissions would be through leakages (I think there are some emissions associated with Land, but I don't know how relevant they are).
So possibly this could be something that can be replicated almost 1 to 1 from other emissions of a similar type (e.g. CH4: it can be leaked but it can also be produced from other biogenic sources).
@ThiagoLFBrito1989 is also working on H2 emissions and leakages, and can possibly chip-in on the topic.

Hi @jkikstra, Sure this makes sense. Maybe extend the logic to include some sub-sectors for this eg emission_h2 from industrial/recomm etc. Happy to help with variable definition and selection.
