What is your idea, question, or challenge related to working with digital media tools or IIIF?
I want to be able to look through as many images of books as possible, looking for specific provenance marks (e.g. a stamp used around 1625 in all the books of a certain medieval abbey). I have many examples of this stamp for reference.
What were you trying to accomplish when your question/challenge/idea arose?
I know computer vision could do this, but I don't know where to start. Maybe as a functionality in the Biblissima Portal? And I know they are always on the first or last page of a book, so that could help to define the search? Google Lens casts the net too wide and gives too many (only) irrelevant results.
Which area best relates to your
question/idea/challenge?
Browsing or searching for digital media (images, audio, video, 3D)
Who would benefit from solving this problem?
Researchers
