still not working. tried html and php sites. they work with lazarus..
Is there a reason why you didn't install all the binary packages in one
directory default (like lazarus) . Why have three different places? It just
complicates things.. i have placed the project in the
installation directory? Is that a problem?

Also check if you have other local server running, try to stop it, then
restart the devbox pro again

no im referring to the whole setup. the default installation has three
folders. i chose to install into c: not into "users" the installation then
creates c:/DevBox Pro and all the libraries were installed into
Users/directory/AppData/Roaming/devbox-pro
and it creates c:/Project
my question is why doesnt the installer place all the content of the
install into one directory c:/DevBox Pro like in a lazarus installation.

Are you referring to the www folder, like in Laragon?
Devbox Pro lets you choose where your project folders are stored (the
default is C:/Projects, but you can change it in the settings).
For an existing project, please use Import Project (found in the New
Project section or under the Project tab at the top). After importing,
Devbox Pro will create a local JSON file containing project information,
such as the PHP, Node, and MySQL versions, so it can identify the correct
versions for your specific project (when running command in cli)
Devbox Pro is designed to work with multiple PHP, web server, and Node
versions simultaneously. You can install different web servers for each
project.

It should run immediately after you import the site. It might be because
your installation path is different. I’ll check it further on my end and
include a fix in the next release. Thanks for the comment
