device authenticaion fails after some waiting time

If I do not login fast enough, the authenticate call is getting timed out.

This should be the same behavior on legacy auth as well. Basically poll_interval is set to 2 seconds and max_failures is 10. So it will fail after 20 seconds of inactivity:

. We can discuss and tweak those values but this isn't a bug.

Maybe we can increase it to ~ 1 min, 20 seconds seems a bit less to put creds
