@jheinen, did something change in GR recently regarding this failing reference image ? It was passing about 3 weeks ago (see e.g. the test suite of this commit JuliaPlots/Plots.jl@4d289ba : https://github.com/JuliaPlots/Plots.jl/actions/runs/15016769183/job/42196434359) |

On the v2 branch of Plots, tests are passing on Windows but not Ubuntu or MacOS. Local investigation on my machine suggests that the crosshatching was rendered weird, and maybe that was causing the issues.
