Unable to delete part when zoomed in and hovering another part

Steps to reproduce

1. zoom in
2. pick a part
3. try to delete it (it wont work because it wants to attach itself somewhere but it cant because youre trying to delete it so nothing happens)

Observed

Nothing happening, part not getting deleted

Expected

Part should get deleted
