Release timeline for updated CE releases?

What is the 'release timeline' for EJBCA Community editions? The last release was EBJCA CE 9.3 in December, we now have newer functionality in EBJCA that is not yet released to Community but are going to be mandatory in some environments (use of Composite certificates vs. Chimera based on what IEFT and such are approving).

Is there a timeline for the next Community release? Especially with a significant number of fixes in intermediate EE releases some of which could be security vulnerabilities and issues.

There is a timeline. It is not fully fixed at the moment though so I don't have more details than that yet.

Given how prominent PQ is becoming and the industry leading towards composite key/cert setups as a long term solution potentially, it may be prudent for the codebase to be updated with some of the EJBCA EE featuresets - even for 'experimental' testing in the small scale.

That is the plan. Composites are supported in the intermediate EJBCA EE 9.5, will be a milestone release in 9.6, and after that a CE release is planned.

Thank you though for detailing the lineup of 'milestones' vs. not milestones and the Composite support. (This said, lack of Composite in CE makes 'developing around it' hard with EJBCA CE, so there might need to be other discussions with your sales or back-channel support teams to discuss my needs for development/exploratory purposes)
