Update from 1.35.3 to specific version possible?

Is it still possible to update to a specific version? (from 1.35.3 to 1.42.2)

Yes. Instructions depend on your installation method.
However, the latest version is recommended.

It is installed on a Linux Pi.

I know but I can´t get the V2 to work on my old HA 0.103.6 when having this in my config file
legacy_availability_payload: false
All my devices shows as offline when using that.

Thats why I at least wanted to use the latest V1

It would be something like: cd z2m_folder, stop z2m, git checkout 1.42.2, pnpm install, start z2m.

But definitely update HA and Z2M to latest, then refer to the docs: availability

I know about the update of HA, but it would take a lot of time that I don´t have at the moment.
I will try out your suggestion and return if I have issues.

I have tried now but get this error message when using checkout
