[Feature Request]: ComboBox with Grouping

I hope everyone had a great Easter?
Now a new Feature-Request from me! Is it possible to add a grouping function KryptonComboBox like in this blog:

Make this into a ComboBox->Tree, to allow tree branching, checkbox selection and icons (And not a TreeView with ComboBox Nodes!)

Implementation details:
Due to the way the ComboBox code in Standard is a mess ! (I tried to add it the menu stuff and failed !)
This might be best to take a step back, and

• Create a text box, and a DropButton next to it
• OnClick pop's up a menu with the tree view in it.
• Add new designer implementation to replicate ComboBox functionality (Or at least a common subset)
• Add designer implementation to replicate TreeView functionality (Or at least a common subset)
• Place into ComboBoxExt project
• Demo / example project
• Doc with pictures

How to show the "Tree Selection" structure in the edit box area ?

How about the breadcrumb method ?
