Thank you for reaching out. Shypd came into existence primarily out of curiosity to map the AI ecosystem. We noticed that more than many (read: thousands) of cool AI tools had their digital homes on GitHub, and we wanted them to know about it. Our message to you was not a promotion but an intimation. This repo was written to collect a dataset that was published years ago, it's complete and no more development is happening. It still works if you want to collect RLHF data, but now that we have bootstrapped an entire LLM agent ecosystem, it'd make more sense to generate the data rather than collect it from users.

More generally, the problem with many of the AI tools is that they require specific Python and driver versions, they quickly become obsolete as new techniques are discovered and end up unsupported.

If you're building an historical archive then it'd be incomplete without oasst.
But if you're building an index that people will actually use, you need to do more than just scrape the names of thousands of AI projects and spam their trackers. You'll have to evaluate them and their dependencies and gpu driver compatibility, ensure they still build and run, understand each one in the context of its history and whether they have been superseded by more modern techniques. And you'd need to maintain it and keep on the cutting edge where all the development is happening. Otherwise you're just building a slop list that pollutes the web with out-of-date information.

Sending thousands of emails to people who are now working on other things is not very helpful.
