Summary

Final batch of the #603 triage. With this PR, every flagged anchor from the full-catalog triage carries its sourced section: 23 Criticism + 26 Current Status (incl. thin-prior notes), all EN + DE, all sources fetch-verified by parallel research agents.

The headline finding: LASR was a silent substitution — in our own catalog

Verification revealed the LASR anchor was fabricated: it described a "lightweight architecture documentation template" with an invented acronym expansion (Lösungsstrategie–Architekturüberblick–Schnittstellen–Risiken), and the AgentSkill catalog carried a second, different invented expansion (Layers–Aspects–Solution Strategy–Rationale). The real LASR is the Lightweight Approach for Software Reviews (Stefan Toth & Stefan Zörner, lasr-reviews.org; Reviewing Software Systems, Leanpub 2023) — a streamlined ATAM alternative with four steps (Lean Mission Statement, Evaluation Criteria, Risk-based Review, Quality-focused Analysis).

This is exactly the Use-Case-3.0 failure mode the training-data article describes — silent substitution on a thin prior — occurring during this catalog's own creation, twice, with two different hallucinations. The rewritten anchor documents its own failure case as evidence for the thin-prior warning. catalog.md is fixed too.

Current Status sections added (14 versioned/living)

Anchor Verified key fact
arc42 v9.0 (July 2025); 12 sections stable; Section-10 split into 10.1/10.2; Q42 quality model
c4-diagrams Levels stable; site rewritten to multi-page reference 09/2024
diataxis-framework Core stable; living unversioned site; "complex hierarchies" guidance new
github-flow Chacon 2011 = continuous deployment is the point; GitHub's current docs dropped the deploy step entirely
fowler-patterns Catalog "content still the same as its original 2003 publication"; eaaDev frozen since 2006 (Fowler's own words)
bem-methodology Definition stable; State of CSS 2024: Tailwind dominant, methodologies no longer tracked
iec-61508-sil-levels Ed 2 (2010) still current; Ed 3 forecast ~Oct 2026 (IEC webstore), adds 62443 + AI/ML
linddun Now a GO/PRO/MAESTRO family; "U" became Unawareness & Unintervenability; no "MAID"
site-reliability-engineering Books canonical + free; platform-engineering convergence
sota Papers with Code — the canonical SOTA tracker — no longer exists (redirects to HF)
chain-of-thought Reasoning models internalise CoT; OpenAI docs advise against "think step by step"; faithfulness caveats (Turpin 2023, Anthropic 2025)
llm-evaluations MMLU superseded by MMLU-Pro/GPQA; date every score
fagan-inspection Definition intact; replaced by async PR review (Bacchelli & Bird, ICSE 2013)
crc-cards Definition intact; survives as the teaching tool it was published as

Thin-prior notes (5) + corrections

  • gom (German-only academic, no DOI — dblp + Uni Münster records), iosp (correction: canonical source is Westphal's Substack; clean-code-developer.de has no IOSP page), meaningful-human-control (single Frontiers 2018 paper), todotxt-flavoured-markdown (doubly niche), lasr (rewritten, see above). Each advises supplying the definition in the prompt.
  • docs-as-code needed no action (the "according to" qualifier already pins it).

Also

  • About page (EN + DE): the lexicon positioning is now explicit — "Inclusion means precision, not endorsement."

Verification

  • node scripts/render-docs.js: all 317 fragments render clean; sections confirmed in EN + DE HTML output

Closes the work plan of #603 (the issue can be closed after merge — future anchors are covered by the contribution convention shipped in #605).

…LM-Coding#603)

Completes the LLM-Coding#603 triage. Fourteen versioned/living anchors and five
thin-prior anchors get Current Status sections (EN + DE) with
fetch-verified sources; the About page states the lexicon positioning
(inclusion means precision, not endorsement).

LASR is rewritten from scratch: verification revealed the previous
entry was a silent substitution on a thin prior — it described a
fabricated "lightweight architecture documentation template" with an
invented acronym expansion (the AgentSkill catalog carried a second,
different invented expansion: "Layers-Aspects-Solution
Strategy-Rationale"). The real LASR is the Lightweight Approach for
Software Reviews (Stefan Toth & Stefan Zörner, lasr-reviews.org;
"Reviewing Software Systems", Leanpub 2023), a streamlined ATAM
alternative with four steps (Lean Mission Statement, Evaluation
Criteria, Risk-based Review, Quality-focused Analysis). The corrected
anchor documents its own failure case as evidence for the thin-prior
warning. The catalog.md expansion is fixed accordingly.

Other notable verified facts: arc42 v9.0 (July 2025), GitHub Flow's
deployment essence is gone from GitHub's current docs, LINDDUN is now
a GO/PRO/MAESTRO family, Papers with Code no longer exists, IEC 61508
Ed 3 forecast ~Oct 2026, IOSP's canonical source is Westphal's
Substack (clean-code-developer.de has no IOSP page).

The previous commit fixed the "Also known as" line but left the Core
field describing the invented "lightweight architecture description
framework" with the fabricated Layers/Aspects/Solution
Strategy/Rationale expansion. The Core field now describes the real
review method (Lean Mission Statement, Evaluation Criteria, Risk-based
Review, Quality-focused Analysis, Result Diagram, workshop format).
