Support for compressed estimation output

Hello, is there support for enabling compression for the resulting estimate output ? It could be either HDF5 transparent compression (preferred), or compression of the whole file as a postprocessing step.

We do have lossy compressed in qp. We could add some sort of compression flag to hdf5, but I'm not sure it would do all that much, as compression floats doesn't always get you much.
