We pledge to act and interact in ways that contribute to an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and healthy community.
Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment:

- Being patient with newcomers and questions
- Helping new modders learn the ropes
- Sharing knowledge about Unity and game modding
- Being constructive when discussing game modifications
- Respecting intellectual property and game developer rights
- Encouraging creativity in mod development
Examples of unacceptable behavior include:
- Trolling, insulting, or derogatory comments
- Public or private harassment
- Publishing others' private information without permission
- Professional or personal attacks
- Other conduct inappropriate in a professional setting
- Piracy promotion or linking to illegal game copies
- Malicious mods or code designed to harm users
- Cheating advocacy in multiplayer contexts
- Hate speech in any form
- Spam or excessive self-promotion
Community leaders are responsible for clarifying and enforcing our standards of acceptable behavior and will take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any behavior that they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.
Community leaders have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that are not aligned to this Code of Conduct, and will communicate reasons for moderation decisions when appropriate.
This Code of Conduct applies within all community spaces, and also applies when an individual is officially representing the community in public spaces.

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, report it to the community leaders:

- Investigation conducted fairly and discreetly
- Action taken appropriate to the violation

All reports will be handled with confidentiality and respect.
Community leaders will follow these Community Impact Guidelines:
Community Impact: Use of inappropriate language or unprofessional behavior.
Consequence: A private, written warning providing clarity around the nature of the violation and an explanation of why the behavior was inappropriate. A public apology may be requested.
Community Impact: A violation through a single incident or series of actions.
Consequence: A warning with consequences for continued behavior. No interaction with involved parties for a specified period. Violating these terms may lead to a temporary or permanent ban.
Community Impact: A serious violation of community standards, including sustained inappropriate behavior.
Consequence: A temporary ban from any sort of interaction or public communication with the community for a specified period. No public or private interaction with involved parties is allowed during this period. Violating these terms may lead to a permanent ban.
Community Impact: Demonstrating a pattern of violation of community standards, including sustained inappropriate behavior, harassment, or aggression toward individuals or groups.
Consequence: A permanent ban from any sort of public interaction within the community.

- Test thoroughly before releasing mods
- Document clearly so others can understand
- Be respectful when reporting mod issues
- Follow game rules and server policies
- Support mod developers constructively
- Respect developers' time and effort
- Give proper credit to MelonLoader and mod creators
- Be honest about mod functionality and limitations
- Promote positive community behavior
- Follow platform terms of service
