Ledger Wallet is the official desktop companion for your Ledger hardware devices (Nano X, Nano S, Stax). It provides a secure interface to manage your crypto assets, verify addresses, sign transactions, and interact with Web3 – all backed by the industry’s strongest hardware security.
This repository hosts the latest stable release of the Ledger Wallet App, including recent security hardening and a growing ecosystem of integrated add‑ons.
We continuously improve the security posture of the wallet. The current update includes:
- Hardened communication layer between the app and Ledger devices – closing a theoretical side‑channel on USB/HID.
- Stricter clear‑signing validation for EVM transactions: unrecognized contract data now triggers an explicit warning.
- Updated dependencies (Electron, Node‑bindings, ledger‑core) to address CVEs reported in previous versions.
- Improved secure entropy for wallet‑generated nonces when using the software wallet fallback (off by default).
These patches are non‑breaking and require no user action beyond updating the app.
The new Ledger Wallet App ships with a set of optional add‑ons that extend its functionality without compromising the root of trust:
