LinuxUtils Code of Conduct

The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to ensure a safe and positive environment across all LinuxUtils projects.

We, the maintainers and contributors of LinuxUtils and its projects, pledge to foster an open, welcoming, and collaborative environment.
Our goal is to create free and open-source Linux tools that benefit everyone, and we are committed to ensuring that all contributors and users feel respected and included.

We pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of:

  • Age, body size, visible or invisible disability
  • Ethnicity, gender identity and expression
  • Level of experience, education, or technical skill
  • Nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation

Our Standards

Positive behaviors we encourage:

  • Showing respect and empathy for others.
  • Providing constructive and helpful feedback.
  • Being open to differing opinions, experiences, and approaches.
  • Focusing on what is best for the community and project.
  • Giving credit where it is due.

Unacceptable behaviors include:

  • Harassment, trolling, or abusive language.
  • Personal or political attacks.
  • Public or private harassment.
  • Spreading false information or misleading contributions.
  • Any other behavior that could reasonably be considered inappropriate.

Our Responsibilities

  • Maintainers are responsible for clarifying acceptable behavior and are expected to take corrective action when inappropriate behavior occurs.
  • Contributors must follow this Code of Conduct in all project spaces, including pull requests, issues, and public discussions.

Enforcement

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies across all LinuxUtils projects and communication channels, including (but not limited to) GitHub issues, pull requests, discussions, and official social media.

Acknowledgment

This Code of Conduct is inspired by the Contributor Covenant but customized for LinuxUtils and its projects.
