Describe the Bug

• Issue: Stream fails immediately on client connection — input/audio/control channels work, video channel never initializes. Server error sequence: No DRM devices found → Failed to initialize GBM → Couldn't open DRM FD for CUDA device: Too many open files. Client reports "Connection Terminated" with Error Code: -1.
• Bisected: Last working v2026.323.224448, first broken v2026.415.34134, confirmed present in latest prerelease v2026.420.171150.
• Environment: Arch Linux (rolling), kernel 6.19.12-arch1-1, Hyprland 0.54.3-2 on Wayland, NVIDIA driver 590.48.01 (nvidia-open-dkms), RTX 4070 Super with PCI passthrough in a Proxmox VM, mesa 26.0.5, wayland 1.24.0.
• Reproduction: Install v2026.415+, configure with NVENC encoder, attempt connection from any Moonlight client.
• Non-reproducibility: wf-recorder using the same zwlr_screencopy_manager_v1 protocol captures successfully, isolating the bug to Sunshine's capture implementation rather than the compositor/protocol/drivers.

Expected Behavior

Connection to successfully establish as it does in earlier versions.
