Search Bug - Model Browser - Missing Results

What happened?

When searching any variant of "Evie", "Fortnite Evie" and a few other names, no results are shown it literally says "No results found" but, when the same search is done on the CivitAI website many many results are shown for "Evie" (in this case Evie refers to the Fortnite character, Evie), this happens when selecting the Base Model as ALL or any selection ex. (SD1.5, SDXL, Pony, Illustrious, Flux.1 D, etc.).

Steps to reproduce

1 - Search "Evie" or "Fortnite Evie" via Model Browser
2 - Wait
3 - Stare at "No results found"
4 - Cry.... (I'm not crying)
5 - Manually go use the CivitAI website.
6 - Search for "Evie" or "Fortnite Evie"
7 - Get results
8 - Smile

have same problem after a update, cant search at all just says end of results, shows the most popular in civitai, it dont matter what i search on, even if i have nothing in my filters, but homepage works fine

Same problem here., search functionality in Model Browser is not working any more.
I noticed this behavior after upgrading to Stability Matrix version 2.14.2 (on Windows 11)

Sorry folks, we're looking into what we can do, but it's primarily due to the Civitai API being overloaded. Even direct calls outside of SM encounter timeouts or errors about connection limits. You can check the status of their API on https://status.civitai.com/status/public

You can also try downloading via our browser extensions for Chrome or Firefox in the meantime.

Could you provide some examples as to what exactly isn't working? I'm unable to reproduce the original issue:

This is on v2.14.2, not using any accelerated model discovery either. If you could provide logs or specific search terms/options to help narrow it down, that'd be great. Thanks!

I'm also hitting this exact error. I tried downloading a different version and that didn't help.

I was using the prior version of StabMatrix, so it is possible that things are working better now. I will check with the new 2.14.2 version and let you know.

A bit of confusion was introduced with the Show/Do not Show NSFW filter, unclear which option was in effect. A box w a checkmark would be a lot clearer than blue color or no color.

I did a full reinstall, and it's still buggy. Take for example this LORA:

If I search Persona5 style or Persona5, I only get unrated LORAs despite sorting by HighestRated:

Thankfully, direct URL search is built in, so copy/pasting it from civit.ai unblocks for now:

I've also noticed that the search results don't match with the website can find. But if you do put the hash back in stability matrix, then all of a sudden you can find one that didn't show before

This issue is stale because it has been open 60 days with no activity. Remove the stale label or comment, else this will be closed in 7 days.
