We currently override the base font size to 16px. It would be better for accessibility to remove this and let the user's browser influence the size. For people who use their system or device settings to request a larger font, mltshp would then let that enlargement flow through to our content.
People working with the default wouldn't see any difference as most browsers currently set the base font size to 16px anyway.
