Defining a new printer
Steps to setting up a new printer:
- Update to the latest version of MatterControl and run it
- Click on 'Setup New Printer' or go to the 'Hardware' tab and click the + button
- Click on the button at the bottom 'Define New'
- Fill out the details of your printer
- Show the Printer Settings
- Go to the 'G-Code' tab on the printer
- Make sure the 'Start G-Code' is correct
- Make sure the 'End G-Code' is correct
- Go to the 'Features' tab on the printer
- Set the 'Load Filament Length' and 'Unload Filament Length' to work well with your printer
- Edit the 'Insert Filament Page' and change the image to be one of your printers filament loading
