IAppHostConfigFile Interface

Represents a configuration file in the [!INCLUDEiisver] configuration system.

Syntax

The following table lists the methods exposed by the IAppHostConfigFile interface.

Method	Description
ClearInvalidSections	Removes invalid configuration sections from a configuration file.
GetAdminSection	Gets a configuration section for a given configuration section and configuration path.
GetMetadata	Gets metadata from the [!INCLUDEiisver] configuration system.
SetMetadata	Sets metadata in the [!INCLUDEiisver] configuration file.

Property	Description
ConfigPath	Gets the configuration system path of the configuration file that this `IAppHostConfigFile` interface represents.
FilePath	Gets the file system path of the configuration file that this `IAppHostConfigFile` interface represents.
Locations	Returns a collection of IAppHostConfigLocation interfaces that represent location tags defined for the current configuration file.
RootSectionGroup	Returns the root configuration section group for the current configuration file.
