IAppHostCollectionSchema::GetMetadata Method

Gets metadata from the collection schema.

Syntax

HRESULT GetMetadata(  
   [in,  
   string] BSTR bstrMetadataType,  
   [out,  
   retval] VARIANT* pValue  
);

bstrMetadataType
A BSTR that contains the name of the metadata to return.

pValue
A pointer to a VARIANT that contains the metadata.

An HRESULT. Possible values include, but are not limited to, those in the following table.

Value	Description
S_OK	Indicates that the operation was successful.
ERROR_NOT_SUPPORTED	Indicates that the metadata is not recognized.

This method is not implemented by the [!INCLUDEiisver] configuration system.
