IAppHostElement::GetPropertyByName Method

Gets a requested property from the IAppHostElement::Properties collection.

Syntax

HRESULT GetPropertyByName(  
   [in,  
   string] BSTR bstrSubName,  
   [out,  
   retval] IAppHostProperty** ppProperty  
);  

Parameters

bstrSubName
A BSTR that contains the name of the requested property.

ppProperty
A pointer to a pointer for an IAppHostProperty interface.

Return Value

An HRESULT. Possible values include, but are not limited to, those in the following table.

Value	Description
S_OK	Indicates that the operation was successful.
ERROR_INVALID_INDEX	Indicates that the property was not found.
