IAppHostMappingExtension::GetSiteIdFromSiteName Method

Gets a unique identifier for a site by using the name of the site.

Syntax

HRESULT GetSiteIdFromSiteName(  
   [in,  
   string] BSTR bstrSiteName,  
   [out,  
   retval] DWORD* pdwSiteId  
);

bstrSiteName
A BSTR that contains the site name.

pdwSiteId
A pointer to a DWORD that contains the site ID.

An HRESULT. Possible values include, but are not limited to, those in the following table.
