This should have a description of the interface instead. Not sure why a guid of the same topic was there to begin with. Replaced the GUID with a description as it should be.
|
Some of these GUID's are actual it's the COM IID's, the interface identifier the developer literally needs to inherit from, etc. Those I am reverting, but adding clarficaiton to what they are where needeed. However there are also some legit GUID's that need to be removed here that are GUID's for the API ref document put in a description, where instead, and actual description for the API should have been there instead. So doing that rather than putting a generic GUID in. In those cases the GUID should not have been in there in the first place. I am correcting these at the moment... |
Removed link that contained the GUID since that page no longer exists to link to.
The GIUD was part a URL, replacing with a generic GUID was not helpful. The original topic the link was to no longer exists, so the link was removed.
The GUID replaced with a generic was part of a URL. The topic for that URL no longer exists, so removing the link rather then creating a new broken link witha generic GUID.
Guid being replaced was part of a URL. The original topic no longer exists, so removing the link altogether.
Removing dead link altogether, no replacement apge available.
Link needed to be updated rather than the GUID in the link being replaced with a generic GUID, which would break the URL link.

Approved after replacing the generic GUID's with either link updates or link removals. In some cases legitimate COM UUID's were referred to which developers need to know and use as is so they cannot be replaced. I noted those.

I also registered the COM UUID on the SFI form to avoid having it flagged again. |
Remediating articles to align with content SFI guidance related to sensitive terms with GUIDs, thumbprints, and secrets.
