After ensuring that I was only evaluating published data, there are about 300 GTFS Schedule feeds with no official status that are good quality (meaning they have 0 validation errors and 7 days of service coverage for a 6 month period, excluding a 30 day grace period for the introduction of any new coverage or validation issues).
While some of these are unofficial data, most of the 25 I initially viewed do seem to be official. I can tell because of the following reasons:
- The URL domain is a government website, agency website, or vendor website
