Moonala v4.01 Vista (No Google Play, Github only)

An intermittent release before the next google play release. Fixes a lot of bugs and issues reported.

Universal Fix For Text Input Losing Focus

A fix for the text input losing focus and black bar issues for the new Dynamic I-Land, this completes compatibility across all devices unless a new issue is found.

Feature and Bug Fix Release : Dynamic I - Land, Geckala Double Tab Launches, Pending Intents Handling, Downloads, and Layouts

Important fixes are in the title, various other optimizations were made and included. This fixes UI race conditions on a large number of devices but does not affect everyone. Optimized bookmarks menu performance.

Fixes layout issues on devices that aren't using edge to edge

(Fixed Bug found on a Samsung where nav bar and status bar overlapped browser content under specific conditions)

This is a quick fix release and has a universal download, if you want a smaller app size, wait for the next full release, this one does not affect everyone but does include some nice additions. The next release will be prepped in full as always.

The Dynamic I-Land feature has been exposed for alpha testing. Enjoy an interactive bar above your keyboard when in use. Personalize with an image of your choice and save quick access resources. (GIF/MP4 support otw) Known issues : Inconsistencies in vendor implementation across devices may cause a black bar to show on a small number of devices that are also using a navigation bar.

Moonala Vista 2 'Geckala'

This release fixes a bunch of bugs and increases overall performance significantly. A bunch of features have been activated for usage and a few new ones have been revealed in the menu. The most notable to mention here now is the gecko engine availability. Opening the dynamic menu and clicking Lunar Features will now reveal an additional button called Test Gecko Engine. This is a simplified test only UI for sampling the gecko engine usage within Moonala. Interoperability and multi-engine features are not exposed and this is mainly to confirm performance and storage viability of the multi engine system while collecting issues and bugs.

The portable mode has been refined and you can now open links from any app, anywhere on your device, without leaving the original app. A floating window in the style of pc's will be created with your url/link. This requires overlay permissions. Completely optional.

The following additional changes have been made from Vista 1, these are from my notes and does not cover the entirety of the changes, just whatever I happened to remember to jot down real quick, the -done marks mean nothing, all of these are done, i just have a habit of putting down -done if i still have my notes open when i finish the task.

Moonala 'Vista' Release 1

This marks moving into the next release stage for Moonala. This release will be requested to be published on google play and will be the split between Moonala 'Vista' and Moonala 'Nightly'. The project will now shift to major releases and a schedule where releases come monthly, with critical fixes released with priority outside of time constraints. A critical bug was fixed with this release and thus previous releases have been completely deprecated and removed. If you need an old release you can obtain one reaching out to moon@moonala.com

Notes : Interestingly one of the "popular" mobile browsers released some of Moonala's features as a part of their own browser after Moonala has gone public with those features. Maybe I'm just being egotistical but I hope to continue making a wonderful browser for us all regardless :). Always free, because without free software, Moonala would never have existed ^_^.
