Data Persistence and Preservation in the Face of Power/Service Outage

This was a question asked during the IEEE SusTech 2024 presentation.

This was more so pertaining to the ability of the system to continuously send data even if there was a power outage or if there was a service outage in terms of internet. Could the system collect and store data to then send to the cloud at a later point in time when power or service is back online?

Our (OG Team) immediate response was that we were concerned with power delivery and power efficiency during course of 2023, and that this would be a good avenue for work going forward with the project. Let us discuss this here with the overall community at large to get the best possible solution with the greatest amount of compatibility.
