MPD 0.24.9 "libz.dll not found" error on Windows 11

I'm using MPD on Windows 11, but with MPD 0.24.9, I get the error "libz.dll not found" and MPD won't start.
This error didn't occur in versions up to 0.24.8.
Is this a bug? Or is there something I need to do?

Suffered from the same isses.

Hope this can soon be mitigated so I can move on to file another issue... which I hoped it could be fixed on nightly.

So... you can cross-compile mpd in Windows with WSL. Do that and this error will go away.

Btw, @MaxKellermann, may I ask why recent build of Windows binary happen to not link libz there? Maybe a bit broken CI or something similar? If so I think it's feasible to make a new release in the near future so Windows user can start using new version and adapt to new changes as before.
