Describe the bug
timeseries.py does not remove old files from the data/ directory. This can result in stale files hanging around, and being displayed on MGViz when they should not be. For example, MGViz/private/eseses/data/comb/ahupr.neu was last updated in January 2024. This should have been removed when subsequent combination tar files did not contain an ahupr.neu file.
What did you expect?
AHUP combination timeseries should not be visible in MGViz when the corresponding files are not found in current combination tar files.
Reproducible steps
1. select AHUP combination raw timeseries in mgviz.ucsd.edu
2. observe that a timeseries is displayed
