As I feared, this no longer builds in CI because they do not have the upstream headers installed. Locally, where I /do/ have them installed, it all does work. I confirmed it doesn't break the ABI, and the test here (I think) proves what we are trying to accomplish. So we're at the point where I think I understand the contours of this but it probably needs some discussion about how to move forward. |
