If a VMC is set in OPL for a game, pass it to neutrino when launching.

@AcidReach you've been a fantastic asset to fine-tuning this fork. I really appreciate all the feedback.
This should now be fully implemented and work. I am not very familiar with Neutrino myself, so the testing and feedback help immensely <3

No problem. I enjoy helping plus you are developing a great branch here. I have other ideas but I wasn’t sure if you were getting frustrated with all the messages I’ve been logging.

I just tested OPNPS2LD-v1.2.0-Beta-2701-52cf265-ps2dev-latest.ELF And unfortunately it didn't successfully pass the memory card to neutrino. My save is not present when loading via neutrino, but it is in OPL.

Not at all - I need as much feedback as possible hahaha
Theres a lot to test and implement and fix as we go.
Im gonna do an audit an try an find the missing bridge here haha
I'll post once I've got some changes made - as to hopefully not burn you out testing too many failures lol

Hi I just tested just prior to your last update anbout 12 minutes ango and unfortunately it isn’t working quite yet.

Is it passing just the name of the VMC or is it also passing the VMC directory name?

mc0: /VMC/XEBP_100.07_0.bin

Note the vmc name might not match the game serial as some games use OPLs vmc groups.

EDIT: Apparently neutrino cant write to apa pfs anyway currently so for internal hdd it might not work anyway. Looks like I actually have an open ticket with the neutrino GitHub which i forgot about. I did actually change to exfat so it could work which was a massive pain. It caused more issues than it solved so I switched back to APA/PFS. That was fun reloading 2TB of isos twice.

Thanks for the update! I will leave this open - if/when neutrino gets this handled we could re-address and close the issue. :)

@AcidReach I tried to get neutrino game modes like NHDDL does.
Since you use neutrino - if you get a chance maybe you could let me know how that goes :)
