How to diff the stash and the index

in the docs it says

  • List                                                     *neogit_stash_list*
    Display the list of all stashes, and show a diff if a stash is selected.

couldn't get it to work

hit <cr> on a stash to open the diff :)

when I do that one of the stashes work as expected showing the diff of 1 file changed
the other stash don't show diffs
