Computer cores are 3.75m diameter parts that can act as a command module, have a small amount of SAS reaction wheel torque, are able to store up to 5000 science, and can be upgraded to an Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) core, capable of performing scientific research much like a science lab. Computer cores use 1MW of power if available initially, and use 5MW of power after being upgraded.

Like Science labs, these are capable of transmitting and receiving scientific data. Transmitted science data must be received within 30 minutes of transmission.
